There are many service committees in this area that help the groups to fulfil their primary purpose, "to carry the message to the addict that still suffers". One such committee is the Hospitals & Institutions Subcommittee of the Toronto Area. H&I work is a good way to greatly enhance your personal recovery.
The purpose of an H&I meeting is to carry the N.A. message of recovery to addicts who do not have full access to Narcotics Anonymous meetings. If you have any interest in giving back through H&I, please attend our monthly business meeting. The 3rd Wednesday of every month, at 7:00 p.m. at CAMH, 33 Russell Street, room 4100 (1 block N of College St. on the E side of Spadina).
